SGAIM sets up in South America
Continuing with its expansion policy, the Spanish company will open its first base in South America in the first fortnight of April.
It will be in Peru, one of the most politically and economically stable countries in South America.
Madrid, May 2010. SGAIM, a company which specialises in the implementation of electronic management solutions for business processes, has committed itself to continuing with its international growth policy and broadening the range of services offered to its clients.
SGAIM has continued with its growth strategy by opening its first base in South America, opting for Peru as the first entry point to the South American market. Albert Lepee, the Deputy Managing Director, states that “the new Peru office will enable us to offer a better service to our clients in South America and to continue with our global expansion plan”.
The office is in the Peruvian capital, Lima, and will have an initial staff of 50 people, the idea being thereafter to grow in accordance with the company’s needs. The profile of the employees working there will be of two types: on the one hand, highly skilled staff with far-reaching knowledge of business process management and new technologies; and, on the other hand, employees with intermediate training for carrying out administrative tasks.
The Lima office is being launched under the supervision of the Spanish general management, but once everything is operational the staff will be Peruvian. “It is important to know the markets where we are based, and so a Peruvian is perfect for directing our offices in Lima”, says Alberto Lepee.
The new headquarters will offer all the services, as doe in the other SGAIM offices, focusing at the outset on the Banking, Insurance Retail sectors with the existing services and products. However, we should bear in mind that these services and products must be adapted to the special features, standards and laws of the local market.
This new office is part of the company’s expansion plan, and depending on the results in the mid term, SGAIM will consider opening offices in other Latin American countries such as Colombia, Brazil or Chile.
