The new resolution of the AEAT (Spanish Tax Agency), published in the Official Bulletin (BOE) on the 1st of November 2007, converts invoices into digital format, (which are legal for all purposes), allowing paper invoices to be replaced by their digital images, thus reducing costs and helping to preserve the environment by using less paper. This resolution obliges all companies to certify invoice scanning software.
