SGAIM offers a signature recognition service in order to guarantee that the documents are correctly signed by the people indicated via reference signatures.

The signature recognition service offered by SGAIM is divided into two parts:

• Signature Localisation. It consists of the application of the latest intelligent character recognition (ICR) technologies which look for the signatures present in the document. The signatures are often found at the foot, on the sides, at the top of the page or on all pages. SGAIM’s solution starts by scanning the documents and detecting the signatures that appear in it.
• Signature Recognition. After locating the signatures it can determine who signed a document. The client provides SGAIM with the equivalence between signatures and name of the signatory. This information, together with the record of signatures that SGAIM holds, is compared with that located in the document. The service offers an equivalence percentage with the signatures stored and their equivalence with the name of the person who signed it.

Automated signature control helps to speed up the processes in which these signed documents are involved. This service complements other services that SGAIM offers such as: contract management, financial derivatives management, delivery note management, etc. among others.
